Shipping schedule, rates, default carrier and other carriers
edenSound ships six days a week. Orders for standard inventory items ship the same day or the following day.
We generally use an affordable and simple flat rate for standard inventory items: $14 per order in the US, $29 worldwide.
Unless otherwise arranged, shipping is by USPS Priority with insurance. If you prefer, we will ship by a different carrier (or by USPS Express) and bill you for the difference. Please make a note in the comments section of your order at checkout.
Exceptions to flat-rate shipping, delivery times
Exceptions to our usual flat rate: custom work and modified items, also large pieces such as turntable platforms, racks, etc. For these, shipping via your preferred carrier will be billed to you at actual cost. Sale packages may, in some cases, ship free.
In the US, Priority has a published service standard of two to three days delivery time. Priority International has a standard of six to ten days. Service standards are not a guarantee.
USPS Express is typically somewhat faster than Priority: faster to most addresses in the US by one day and faster worldwide by two to five days.
Orders over $400 will require a signature unless otherwise arranged. Please make a note at checkout if you want to waive this requirement–or if you want signature confirmation added to a smaller order.
International shipping restrictions and disclaimer
In the event the destination country is not served by our default carrier, we reserve the right to refund any order.
Applicable import duties, taxes, and brokerage fees are not included in the product price or shipping and handling cost. Any such charges are the buyer’s responsibility; we charge only the transportation fee for your order. You may check with your country’s customs office to determine if there will be additional costs.
The buyer is responsible for obtaining information regarding their country’s laws, regulations, and restrictions that may apply when purchasing our products. By placing an international order (shipping outside of the United States of America), the buyer is responsible for abiding by their country’s laws, regulations, and restrictions. If a product is seized or returned by customs, we will not be responsible for any losses, including product and shipping costs.
